Our Programs

Pre School

Nursery Rhymes School offers Pre-School programs for children from 2 ½ years old to 4 years old. Parents can choose between 2 days and 5 days per week.

  • Toddler Program – ages 2.5 to 3 years
  • Pre-K3 – Must turn 3 years old by October 1 of the school year
  • Pre-K4 – Must turn 4 years old by October 1 of the school year.

Before care 7:30 to 8:30 and after care 4:30 to 6:00 is available for small an additional charge.

Registration is open all year but is dependent upon space availability.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten is an important transition in you child’s development. For the first time he or she will be placed into a more formal academic environment before entering the primary grades.

If you are considering a private full time kindergarten, the advantages of sending your child to Nursery Rhymes, high quality program are; smaller class sizes, an experienced degreed staff who understand the needs of a kindergarten student. The curriculum emphasizes reading and language, math, science and social studies that include science experiments and nature activities. Music, art and drama experiences are integrated into the daily lesson plans.

French language lessons and sign language lessons are included in the curriculum. Educational field trips are also planned throughout the school year.

To register, you child must turn 5 years old no later than October 1 of the school year. School hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Before and after care are also available.

Summer Camp

Nursery Rhymes School Summer Camp Program during July and August will runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00. Early drop off hours (7:30 am) and late pick-up (6:00) are available if needed. The program is offered to children between the ages of 3 -11 years old.

Our summer program offers a variety of activities utilizing our large outdoor playground and an indoor game room. Each week will be dedicated to a specific theme and each theme will be an opportunity for an exciting learning experience.

Every week of the program we will host special event or guest to enhance the week’s special theme. These events will include field trips, pony rides, a magician, live animal show and much more.

Daily activities include outdoor water activities, arts and crafts, ball playing, organized games and contests, prizes, bike riding and rainy day movies. Other special activities include ice cream sundae parties and barbeques and special theme lunches.

Early registration is suggested (three weeks minimum) since class sizes are limited.
