Playmate Too

Playmate Too Infant / Toddler Center was established in 1989 with the philosophy that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring and discovery.

The staff at PLAYMATE TOO strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children who attend.

INFANTS: It is our belief at PLAYMATE TOO that babies’ emotional and intellectual development is nurtured when caregivers talk to and make eye-contact with them. It is our goal to have your child feel loved and safe. We believe that babies must experience a variety of positions throughout the day, (swing, bouncing chair, floor time, and high chair) in order to encourage them to explore their surroundings.

Taking, singing, and reading to infants helps them become familiar with language and ultimately to recognize words and sounds.

TODDLERS: The goal of PLAYMATE TOO is to support and encourage social, artistic, moral, and intellectual development in your children through their own activity and discovery.

It is our aim to teach your children that they are competent to learn, to grow, to trust themselves as well as others. We will encourage your children to question thoughtfully, think for themselves and explore their environment.

It is also our aim to have your children express his/her feelings and sense of self through dramatic play, dance, art, literature, fine and gross motor skill activities. Based on these beliefs the staff will strive to provide an environment where goals can be achieved.

Registration is open year round for children ages newborn to 2 ½ years. We encourage visits to the center so you can judge the quality of care for yourself.
